ANZAC DAY
MASS TO COMMEMORATE ANZAC DAY will be celebrated on Thursday 25 April at 9am at St Benedict’s, East Brisbane. Lest We Forget SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM - FIRST COMMUNION
We invite you to take part in our preparation program for First Holy Communion. This generally occurs for children at 9 years of age or who are currently in Year 4 and have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. It will begin with the parents’ sessions which will be held in the parish of Sts Peter and Paul, Bulimba on either Wednesday 24 April (at 7.30pm) or on Friday 26 April (at 9.30 am). The children’s enrolment in the sacramental preparation occurs over four weeks and takes place in the home with the aid of the sacramental resources which we will provide. There will be a special Celebration of God’s Mercy to prepare your children for their first communion. It is a key part of the sacramental preparation for the Archdiocese of Brisbane and you should plan to be present. First Holy Communion will be celebrated at St Joseph’s, Kangaroo Point on the Feast of The Most Holy Trinity, Sunday 26 May at 9am. Enquiries can be directed to Sts Peter and Paul’s parish by phone 3399 2386 or email bulimba@bne.catholic.net.au |
